Angus Access Panel is asking local groups and organisations to put forward nominations for this year’s Rod McFarlane Award.
Each year the panel presents the award to the building/buildings in Angus which provide the best access and service provision for disabled people.
Any building or facility in Angus used by the public, which meets this criteria, can be nominated.
It may be new purpose built or an older property which has benefited from improvements to provide access for disabled people, or even a building which has been in existence for some time but has not yet been recognised for its provision. Nomination forms can be obtained from the Access for Disabled Office at 4 Victoria Street, Forfar, telephone 01307 465161 or email email@example.com The closing date for nomination is Friday, July 5, 2013.
The Angus Access Panel campaigns for, and advises on, improved access for disabled people to the built environment in Angus.
