Local heating oil supplier Brogan Fuels is looking to reward ‘charity champions’ in Forfar in recognition of dedication to their causes.

The company, based at Orchardbank Industrial Estate, is keen to hear stories about volunteers who go that extra fund-raising mile for their charities or who give up their free time to help others.

Nominations are being invited now for someone who deserves a special treat as a ‘thank you’ for all their hard work.

Suggestions can include something for the individual themselves, a donation to a charity of their choice, or both.

The company, which operates nationwide, has a flourishing support programme in each of its depot areas to help support its local communities and has made a fund available to recognise those who serve their local communities.

Bryan Main, Brogan Fuels regional manager, said: “We’re sure we have plenty of great charity champions in the Forfar area and we can’t wait to find out more about these people who go above and beyond to make a difference to others.

“Offering a reward is our chance to give something back to the people who add so much to this community.”

Brogan Fuels has a selection criteria and asks that all nominations are made for charity champions in the Forfar area.

Nominators are also advised to get in touch early as funding is limited.

To nominate, e-mail bursary@brogans.co.uk, describing the person being put forward, their address and in no more than 200 words, what they have done for charity and why they deserve to be rewarded.

Full contact details of both nominator and nominee should also be included so the Brogan Fuels team can get in touch.

Successful applicants will be notified within 28 days of their nomination being received. Terms and conditions apply and Brogan Fuels reserves the right to decline applications.
