In Forfar the service was held in St Fergus Church before a parade from the Myre to the Cross for the wreath laying ceremony, whilst a short act of remembrance was held in Kirrie Square followed by a church service in the Glens and Kirriemuir Old Parish.

At 12.30 p.m. a wreath laying ceremony took place at the war memorial in Kirriemuir cemetery.

Thanks go to EO Media and Frank Proctor for supplying pictures of the Forfar and Kirriemuir events respectively.
