Pupils’ field trip

TWENTY-FOUR Forfar Academy pupils and three teachers are heading for Switzerland for the annual geography field trip on Wednesday (today).

The trip was open to those pupils taking Standard Grade Geography and will help pupils to transfer the knowledge they have gained in the classroom to real life examples. In particular the pupils will study glaciation and man’s use of glaciated landscapes.

The trip, led by Mrs Helen Waggott of the Geography department, will last eight days and will be based near Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland.
