THERE is concern over the future of Prime Time Kirriemuir – due to lack of people to serve on the committee.
Indeed, a spokesperson for the group warns that the festive meal in December could be the last meeting of Prime Time.
“It is a desperate situation, but if we cannot attract new people to serve as officials or on the committee then will will not be able to continue.”
It is hoped that people will come forward and volunteer their services at the next meeting. In addition to the annual general meeting there will be a demonstration by members of the art and craft groups.
At the October social meeting, Paul Grant, chairman of Mackays of Arbroath, gave an interesting tale on the story of the firm’s involvement in marmalade and preserves, the move to new premises in Arbroath, etc.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Win de Ciantis.
