OUR readers have responded to the Angus Council decision to postpone the roadworks in South Street until after Christmas.
Lauren Robertson said: “[The postponement] is definitely a good thing, especially with the bad weather about to come upon us.”
Laura Milne added: “I am totally relieved. I can’t believe they could have started roadworks with the threat of snow like last year.
“It would no doubt have run on past Christmas and where would Santa have been allowed to park then?”
Tom Obrien made his feelings clear when he said: “First sensible decision in ages by the council.”
