Panto with a difference

It’s panto time again in Forfar - but not as we know it!

The newly founded Purely Adult Production Society (PAPS) will be performing a re-imagining of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in the Reid Hall, Forfar on Saturday, April 5.

Re-titled ‘Bedded Beauty’ it is, as the name suggests, purely for an adult audience.

The ‘tongue-in-cheek’ panto promises to be in the best possible taste and will raise funds for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.

Co-founder Ewan Phillip said interest has been high for the show which will include table service and food provided on the night.

The aim was to produce a pantomime for an adult audience as their first show.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and close at 1 a.m. after the show and a disco.

Tickets cost £20, which includes a support act and food at the interval and table service from the licensed bar.

Tables of 10are invited to go along to enjoy a bit of adult humour, whilst raising money for a life-saving

Ewan said: “It’s all a bit tongue-in-cheek and we aren’t out to offend anyone.

“It will be good to do something a little bit different and make a bit of money for a good cause at the same time.”
