Members of Letham Drama Group are in final rehearsals for this year’s production of ‘Once Upon a Time’, an original pantomime which will be staged at the village hall between Thursday (tomorrow) and Saturday.

Directed by Maggie Fleming, it promises plenty of opportunity to cheer the goodies, boo the baddies and sing along with a number of familiar tunes.

As always the majority of the cast is made up of children and young people from the local community but this year sees a number of junior members taking on principal roles for the
first time.

They are certainly rising to the challenge and are setting a high standard for the adults treading the boards.

Will our hero be able to rescue his beloved from the clutches of the evil Ice Maiden in time to save the day? Will Elf and Safety or Tick and Tock prove to be the funnier double act of
the show?

Will Dame Nellie Foot manage to control her brood of children and finally get her man? You’ll have to go along and find out.

Tickets are on sale from Letham Spar with a limited number available at the door for each performance.
