Packed programme for Guild

The September meetings of the Glens & Kirriemuir Old Parish Church Guild were opened by a talk from Rev. Linda Stevens with the dedication service and a talk from a major in the Salvation Army whose training is intense and takes many months. The most recent talk was about the opening of Lippen Care at Whitehills Hospital in Forfar.

It was described by Marion Hood, centre manager, who talked about the work of the charity and the centre, which was opened on December 5, 2005, by Dr Derek Coyle. The charity continues to fund-raise locally and has 66 volunteers, although more would be welcome
