The National Trust for Scotland’s Angus Members’ Centre will hold its first plant sale of the year this Sunday.
Held in the courtyard of the House of Dun, near Montrose, the sale will be held between 1.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.
The majority of plants are grown locally by the Members’ Centre’s gardeners, so are suitable for the Angus climate and will be properly hardened off.
There will be assorted plant varieties and there will be of laurel and holly, prime for hedging, and all are potted and available now by contacting Charles on 01307 463860 or Dave on 01575 572914. They will also be available at the plant sale on request.
Surplus plants and pots are welcome but pots should be of one litre size or above (about five inches or more across) and in good condition. Small quantities can be left under the stall in the courtyard at the House of Dun but larger volumes should be brought to the plant sale or taken to the polytunnel in the West Walled Garden. Alternatively, again contact Charles or Dave.
