FORFAR woman Norma Craig has retired after 36 years with the National Health Service.
Norma worked as a midwife then district nurse before joining the continence service, working latterly as the lead nurse.
Earlier this year she was nominated by Scottish colleagues and awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Association of Continence Advice at a conference in Brighton “in recognition of significant and national contribution to the field of continence care.
Norma said: “I have seen many changes over the 36 years and was so humbled to be nominated for the fellowship which was a great end to my career.”
David Gill, Head of pharmacy with NHS Tayside added: “I have had the pleasure of working with Norma over several years and have taken great pleasure in her positive attitude and strong leadership of her service. I hope she has a long and happy retiral and I pass on best wishes from many colleagues and managers from across Tayside and beyond.”
