Mountains Animal Sanctuary is inviting locals to its nativity play this Saturday at 4pm.
Taking place in the barn at Milton of Ogil, the staff will put on a nativity performance narrated by Reverend Andy McCafferty and accompanied by harpist Susan Zappert of Birse. Children from Edzell Church Sunday School will sing in the nativity, while a number of the sanctuary’s much-loved sheep and donkey residents will also join the performance. The visitors’ centre will be open for those looking for last minute Christmas presents or a refreshment. This event is free and guests are invited to wrap warmly for an afternoon of festive cheer with the team at Mountains.
Pam Taylor, general manager said: “Festive feeling locals are invited to join us for our Christmas nativity. The team has been working hard to create an afternoon of festive fun.
“The performance will take place in the barn with a couple of our sheep and donkeys starring in the show. We’re delighted to have the support of Reverend Andy McCafferty and have musical accompaniment from Susan Zappert and carol singers from Edzell Church Sunday School. It’s shaping up to be a great afternoon.”
