After only a little over two years on the road Nathan Carter has shot right to the top of the highly competitive Irish music scene.

Everywhere he goes it is either huge crowds or closed doors.

On Friday, November 8 he is playing at The Whitehall Theatre in Dundee.

He is backed by what is regarded as one of the top three Irish bands, Special guest on the show will be Lisa Stanley the popular presenter of “The Phil Mack” TV Show. Lisa is the daughter of the legendary Irish country singer, Maisie McDaniels.

Nathan is an English-born, Irish country singer. Born in Liverpool to Northern Irish parents, he began playing the accordion at the age of four and six years later won the title for All Ireland Title for Traditional Singing. His debut album, Starting Out, was released in 2007 and from then on he has been known for reviving the genre of Country and Irish in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. He released his latest CD, ‘Where I Wanna Be’ in August 2013.

Nathan Carter and the band recently recorded a Live DVD in the Aura Complex, Letterkenny. The show was a great success and even included a special guest appearance by the legendary Phil Coulter. The DVD will be released in the next month or so and would make a perfect Christmas gift.

The following evening, Saturday, November 9, The Whitehall Theatre will welcome “Just Say Naw” - An Evening with George Galloway.
