The annual general meeting of the Angus Members’ Centre of the National Trust for Scotland will take place on Thursday, October 2.
It will start at 2.15 p.m. in Forfar’s Guide Hall, Myre Car Park and after the meeting long service certificates will be presented to volunteers to acknowledge their years of service to the members’ centre and the NTS.
Steve Callaghan, assistant director north, properties & visitor services will give an illustrated talk entitled ‘NTS North – highlights, headaches and heritage.’
He will use slides to illustrate the wide range of his work and the main areas of focus required to ensure that the NTS properties in the north contribute to the aims of the trust.
The meeting is open to everyone and non-members will be made welcome.
For anyone who would like to know more about support for the NTS at a local level, details of the Angus members’ centre will be available at the meeting or by contacting the group’s membership secretary on 01674 676783.
