Angus Writers’ Circle were delighted to welcome visitors from the editorial team of the new writing and visual arts magazine ‘Pushing out the Boat’.
The magazine, which is based in Aberdeen, includes examples of poetry, writing and art work from all over the world.
Among those in the visiting group were editor Sheila Reid and editorial panel member Martin Walsh, both of whom read excerpts from some of the pieces published in issue 12 of the magazine.

Fordyce performed a reading of her poem ‘Wish you were here’ which features in the publication’s latest edition.
During the visit, the editorial team talked about the selection process for the magazine and encouraged members of the Angus Writer’s Circle to submit their work.
