Top awards for Kirriemuir Army cadets

Two Army Cadets from Kirriemuir Detachment, Army Cadet Force were recently presented with their 4 star badges and certificates whilst at a training weekend at Barry Buddon from Colonel Martin Passmore, Commandant of Angus and Dundee Battalion.
Cadet Colour Sergeants Brandon McKinney (16) and Caitlin Whatley (16) completed a nine day Senior Cadet Cadre in Dingwall and Holcombe Moore respectively. The cadre comprised of Fieldcraft, Navigation and teaching techniques from the cadets. Brandon and Caitlin also attended an Advanced Drill Cadre which was essential for them to complete their 4 star. They were marked on their personal drill and on the commands they gave to a squad of other cadets.  
They can now teach cadets up to 2 star and are now eligible to attend Cadet Training Centre in Frimley, Surrey to qualify for the Master Cadet badge.
