Retail vouchers up for grabs in water survey

With THE January sales well underway, customers who take part in a major consultation on the future of water and waste water services are in with a chance of winning shopping vouchers worth £100.

Scottish Water is seeking its customers’ views on future water charge levels and the extent to which they’d like to see less or more service improvements in return.

The consultation, which runs until February 12, also sets out Scottish Water’s future plans to ensure it can continue providing high quality drinking water to all customers, protect and enhance the environment, support the economy, communities and invest in future water services across Scotland.

Scottish Water is keen to hear the views of as many customers as possible from around Scotland.

Everyone who takes just a few minutes to respond - whether it’s through the dedicated consultation website www.scottishwater.co.uk/yourviewscount or in writing - will be entered into a prize draw, from which five winners will collect Marks and Spencer vouchers worth £100 each.

Douglas Millican, Interim Chief Executive of Scottish Water, said: “We will all have relied on water over the festive season. With Scotland’s population projected to grow and climate change expected to impact on the environment, it’s vital that we don’t take water for granted and think about steps we might need to take to protect this valuable resource and ensure we can continue to provide the best possible services to the people of Scotland well into the future.

“That’s why I’d encourage everyone to have their say on our major consultation between now and February 12.”

Launched in November, the dedicated consultation website features useful information for customers, interactive options and a video -www.scottishwater.co.uk/yourviewscount

Customers can have their say through the website or by writing to: Freepost RTBT-EEXB-EJRT, Scottish Water, Daldowie Office, Uddingston, Glasgow, G71 7RX.
