Rent meetings
In A new arrangement between Angus Council’s housing and library services, council tenants are being invited to sessions in libraries when housing staff will be on hand to discuss the annual rent rise consultation.
The first of these sessions will be held between 4 p.m and 6.30 p.m. on Monday, December 10, at Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose libraries to enable tenants to get in-depth information on rents.
Tenants wishing to book a time to talk to staff can do so through the council’s ACCESSLine on 08452 777 778.
While in the library, tenants will have the opportunity to find out more about the lending, learning and IT services available to them.
Tenants will be able to choose their preferred rent rise options of 2.2 per cent, 2.7 per cent or 3.2 per cent, from information in the forthcoming tenant newsletter. It will be delivered to 7,775 households and tenants are invited to let the council know their preferred rent rise option by returning the tear off slip in the free return envelope provided.
