New year and new logo
THE DEADLINE for new and returning artists applying to join Angus Open Studios 2013 is fast approaching.
Now well established and preparing for their third year, AOS have a brand new logo reflecting their Angus heritage. The last two years have been a resounding success for artists and designer-makers opening their studios to the public for five days over the May bank holiday.
Members have increased their visibility, increased networking with other creatives, had a chance to meet new customers and take part in new experiences and events.
AOS gives an opportunity for all artists, designers, and craftspeople, from all over Angus, to raise their profile and be part of the largest cultural and creative event in the Angus Calendar, which is the AOS event.
This year there is also a new opportunity for AOS members to participate in a winter mini open studios, in addition to the May 23 to 27 main AOS event.
Together with a half page in the popular AOS directory, and an artist page on the AOS website, this is an opportunity for artists to raise their profile in Angus and beyond.
Artists need not worry if they have little space in their studio for the public to visit, as AOS can find them a suitable venue in Angus
