MOTORCYCLIST SERIOUS AFTER COLLISION NEAR FORFAR
TAYSIDE Police are investigating a collision that took place on the Letham to Kingsmuir Road near to Lownie Farm about 6.30pm last night (Tuesday, June 15).
A silver Vauxhall Corsa motor car and a black Honda VFR motorcycle were in collision and the motorcyclist, who was wearing a black and white jacket and helmet was seriously injured.
Emergency services attended and an ambulance, under police escort, conveyed the 37-year-old male rider to Ninewells hospital for emergency treatment to his left leg.
The learner driver and her instructor, both occupants of the Corsa, were uninjured.
Tayside Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to contact them on the non-emergency phone number 0300 111 2222 or see any Police Officer.
