Gallery dedicated to the Glens

THE GATEWAY to the Glens museum upstairs gallery is currently dedicated to the surrounding glens, with information about their history, geography and a display of wildlife, running until Saturday, April 27.

There is also a display of photographs and research used in the recently published book, ‘Glen Clova through the ages’ by local author Flora Davidson, at the museum in Kirriemuir.

Flora, now resident in Glen Clova, lived in Arbroath as a teacher of modern languages, later becoming a professional genealogist. Flora has also written a book of short stories,

Flora’s new book is available for sale at the museum priced £7.50.

The display can be viewed during the museums opening hours of 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday (closed Mondays from April 1). Admission is free.
