Former racing pigeon Watson looking for home
Watson
The Scottish SPCA is seeking a good home for a racing pigeon which has lost its way.
Watson came in to the charity’s Angus, Tayside and Fife Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre near Dundee in January after he was found in a garden.
Unfortunately no-one has come forward to claim him and he is now seeking a second chance with an experienced pigeon keeper.
Assistant centre manager Lesley Clark said, “Watson is a really nice boy who is very chatty. He spends most of the day calling out to you and looking for attention and he’s a bit of a poser too, puffing out his chest and strutting his stuff whenever anyone walks past.
“As Watson is a racing pigeon he’s used to being outside and flying long distances so he’s understandably getting a bit bored here at the rescue centre.
“We’re looking for a good home for him with an experienced owner who has other pigeon pals to keep him company.”
Anyone interested in offering Watson a home can call the Scottish SPCA Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999 and ask to be connected to the Dundee centre.
