Filmmakers and animators required
ANGUS Youth Action and Young Scot (Angus) want to add new members to its dynamic team of 14-25 year olds who are interested in developing skills and experience in filmmaking, animation, photography and creative media.
Based in Forfar, the team of young people produce films and animations around youth issues which can then be posted on the national Young Scot website and made available to a national audience. For those young people seeking a career in this kind of work, then this is an opportunity to learn some of the basics.
Young people seeking to join the team must be motivated and passionate about trying new things, whether working in front of, or behind, the camera. They may already have skills that to share with others, or at beginner level.
There is help available with travel expenses, the offer of training, accreditation and the experience of gaining skills.
For information or an application form, email aya@angus.gov.uk or contact Grant Tait or Rikki Beattie, Angus Council community learning and development, on 01307 473662.
