Christmas at the East and Old Guild

Members of the East and Old Guild met on Wednesday for their Christmas meal.
Mrs Margaret Robertson welcomed members and the guests, the Rev. Barbara Ann and Billy Sweetin. A delicious and lavish buffet meal was served by Alison Beattie and her helpers.
This was followed by Carols by Candlelight with many well-known and well-loved carols being sung, interspersed with Christmas poems and readings.
The Rev. Barbara Ann ended the evening with the blessing.
Members look forward to the talk on the poet Robert Burns on January 22.
