E-commerce, procurement and funding are all on the menu for the Angus Business Breakfast at Forbes of Kingennie on Wednesday, August 27.
Hosted by Angus Council, the event will give local businesses the chance to talk to the council’s economic development team about support for their companies.
Councillor Mairi Evans, the authority’s business spokeswoman, encouraged businesses to attend as the services offered may be useful. She also said the event would be mutually beneficial.
She said: “This is a chance for local businesses to meet their local economic development team and hear about our plans and current projects.
“It’s also an opportunity to discuss the help and support they’d like from us – their feedback will help us plan and provide the business support activity that local companies need.”
The event, which will run from 8.15 a.m. to 10.15 a.m., will feature a Taste of Angus buffet breakfast, and is free but as places are limited businesses are asked to register by next Friday, August 22.
There will be people on hand to talk to about funding, marketing, business support and e-commerce as well as information about procurement, planning, skills and training and property.
