KIND-HEARTED shoppers at Asda Forfar voted TCCL as their winner for December’s ‘Chosen By You, Given By Us’ donation.

The £200 cheque was received on behalf of TCCL by Asda colleagues, Ryan Stewart and Sarah Brymer whose son, Adam Brymer, was diagnosed with leukaemia last year and received support from TCCL.

Tayside Children with Cancer & Leukaemia are raising funds to create TCCL Lodge, a holiday house for Tayside children with cancer and leukaemia.

Holidays are an important time for families to spend quality time together but those affected by these diseases are often unable to go on holiday as it is so difficult to meet the needs of the whole family and to be close enough to hospital for treatments.

The budget for this project is £500,000, £150,000 of which has already been gratefully received in donations.

Customers in the store are invited to vote for their chosen good cause by placing a token, handed out at the tills, into one of three collection points at the entrance to the store.
