THE scene is set for this year’s Live in the Den event, which takes place this Saturday in the heart of Kirriemuir.
DD8 Music, the Kirriemuir-based community group, is making final plans for this year’s event and have once again put together a programme of live music and fun for all the family.
The natural amphitheatre of the Den will host the popular music festival which kicks off at 12 noon.
The organisers have lined up a selection of amazing live talent from all over Scotland, including a few local favourites.
Playing live on the day will be Laura Ferguson, Esperi, The Moonzie Allstars, The ID Parade, Emerald Sunday, Sonnet 65 and The Trade.
As well as the amazing live music there will be a barbecue, arts and crafts stalls, a tombola, a beat the goalie competition, face painting, a bouncy castle and the incredible Sneak Show stilt walkers.
The free festival is organised as a gift to Kirriemuir by the community group which is based at studios in Bellies Brae.
