LIPPEN Care have two fund-raising events lined up for the next few weeks.
The local charity will host a coffee morning in the Glens & Old Parish Church hall, Kirriemuir, on Saturday, August 27.
Visitors can enjoy a freshly baked pancake with their tea or coffee for the ticket price of £1.50. There will also be a baking stall, a raffle and a bottle stall.
The event kicks off at 10 am and the organisers look forward to welcoming friends old and new. Contributions for the baking stall will be gratefully received at the hall from 9.15 am on the morning.
Their dancing supporters are invited to look out their dancing shoes for a dance in Kingsmuir Hall on Saturday, September 17.
A great evening is in store, with music from the ever-popular Steven Carcary. A stovie supper followed by tea and home-made shortie will be served and a licensed bar will run throughout the evening along with a raffle.
Admission is by ticket only; tickets, priced £12, should be ordered from the Lippen Care office on 01307 475256.
