Help for Heroes donation from Boys Brigade

The company section of he 1st Kirriemuir Boys' Brigade have presented a cheque for 800 to Major Tim Grantham the County Co-ordinator for Help for Heroes. This was the charity chosen by company as the charity for the last BB Session. The money was raised by holding various fund raising events - a coffee morning, a stall at Cortachy games, selling free range eggs from the farm of one of the officers, along with fruit and veg donated by members of the congregation in the church office. The Help for Heroes charity was chosen as the company has former boys serving with the armed forces. Th 800 donation will help prepare a Recovery Pathway down which individuals who have suffered life changing injuries can follow. It delivers a base upon which injured personnel can build a new beginning for themselves and their families. Accepting the cheque is Help For Heroes representative Major Tim Grantham.
