A NEW leaflet aimed at supporting positive emotional wellbeing and good mental health has been launched at the Scottish Association for Mental Health Resource Centre in Montrose.
The ‘Positive Steps’ leaflet has been developed in partnership between Angus Community Health Partnership (CHP) and the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) Angus. Staff from Angus CHP’s Health Improvement Team, Adult Mental Health and Psychological Therapies Services have also contributed.
Many people experience difficult times and may feel, worried and upset. The 12 steps in the leaflet aim to provide advice on maintaining positive emotional wellbeing and mental health. The leaflet highlights the importance of taking time to relax and eat sensibly as well as offering practical suggestions on keeping active and learning new skills.
It will be available at a variety of locations across Angus including GP surgeries, SAMH centres, Voluntary Action Angus, Access Offices and libraries.
