Hallowe’en festivities at Forfar Academy

FORFAR Academy pupils entered into the spirit of Hallowe-en this year by attending school in fancy dress.

A dress up/dress down day was held where pupils either went all out with fancy dress or simply chose not to attend in uniform.

All proceeds went towards Children in Need and Macmillan Cancer.

Pupils and staff alike really entered into the spirit of things and some eye-catching costumes were on show.

People had clearly put a great deal of effort into the planning and making of some costumes and it all paid off with a wide variety of characters present around the school.

The winners of the best costumes were: Group winners - Katherine Duncan and Laura Farquhar (Bill and Ben), senior girls winner (shared) Stephanie Shepherd (Smurf) and Rachel Scott (Rubix Cube), Senior boys winner - Robbie Young (Captain Jack Sparrow), Staff winner - Paul Harrison (The Joker) and Junior winner was Chantelle Butler (Zombie School Girl).

A very big well done to all pupils and staff who went to the effort to dress up and make the day a great success.
