The Herbalist’s Garden at Logie will be open this Sunday (July 26) from 2pm–5pm as part of Scotland’s Gardens Scheme.
The garden is set within an 18th century walled garden and large Victorian greenhouse within Logie’s organic farm and features more than 150 herbs. The physic garden is divided into eight rectangles including medicinal herbs for the different body systems.
All the herbs are identified by labels which give a brief description of their actions. The garden also features a herbaceous border and productive fruit and vegetable garden.
Admission will cost £4 and homemade teas will be served. Dogs will not be allowed. All funds will go do various charities and further information about the scheme is available from www.scotlandsgardens.org
