ANGUS Council has set aside £80,000 to be distributed across the area for a varity of ward-based projects.
Elected members of Angus Council have made a number of suggestions as to what this funding should be used for.
In Forfar and the surrounding areas over £10,000 has been suggested for improvements.
Councillors have suggested that Letham is given £1,000 towards supporting youth projects and £2,000 towards town twinning signs.
Forfar is set to get £10,000 which will be shared between planters and seats in the East High Street, planters in Castle Street and seats and a planters at the Municipal Buildings. Kirriemuir could get CCTV cameras at Kirrie Hill with an estimated cost of £10,000. However, the final costs are still to be prepared.
