A local opticians is hosting a fun-filled children’s day to promote the importance of eye health and clear vision for youngsters.
Specsavers in Forfar will open its doors on Saturday, August 3, for a clinic dedicated to its youngest eyecare customers.
As well as a children-only clinic, the fancy dress event will be jammed-pack with fun activities, including face painting, goodie bags, sweets and cakes.
While children have the opportunity to get involved with the event, parents will be able to learn about the importance of their child’s first eye test.
Blair Michie, store director of Specsavers, Forfar, said: “We have cleared our schedule for 3 August so that all our appointments are open to Forfar kids and they can make the most of the fun on offer in-store.”
