Landlords and letting agents in Angus have been invited to check they are up to speed with current regulations at a free workshop held by tenancy deposit scheme SafeDeposits Scotland.
The workshop, which takes place on Thursday (March 17) at Discovery Point in Dundee, will guide attendees through real case studies to advise them on best practice and effective problem solving with tenants.
The training session will take landlords and letting agents through methods to prevent and solve disputes if and when they arise.
Jen Paice, CEO of SafeDeposits Scotland, said: “We want to keep landlords and letting agents up to speed on the latest developments in the private rented sector.
“Being prepared for life’s ups and downs will help landlords – and their tenants – save both time and money.
“Our free session will explain how to navigate the private renting process and help landlords know exactly what is expected of them at every stage.”
SafeDeposits provides a free alternative dispute resolution service for landlords, tenants and letting agents as a last resort if repayment of a deposit cannot be agreed on.
The workshop will take place at Discovery Point, Discovery Quay, from 9am to 12pm.
