Are you living with arthritis? Are you keen to manage your arthritis rather than your arthritis manage you? Then the Angus Arthritis Forum might be for you.
A free information evening will be held in The Lintrathen Room at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in Forfar on Wednesday, January 11 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The New Year is often the time when people are looking at what they can do to improve their health and wellbeing. Angus Community Health Partnership (CHP) in conjunction with the Arthritis Forum has organised this two-hour informal evening which is open to anyone living with arthritis, their families and friends.
During the evening Rhona Guild, Primary Care Manager with Angus Community Health Partnership, will discuss self management support currently available in Angus. Lorraine Park, Lead Occupational Therapist, will also be running a relaxation session as well as giving advice and tips on relaxation techniques which people can practice at home.
There will also be plenty of time for a cup of tea and a chance to meet others affected by arthritis.
