Farmers' market this weekend.

The Angus Farmers’ Market will be packed with first-class food, drink and quality gifts at Forfar Mart this Saturday with over 30 stallholders attending.

Organisers are pleased to welcome Chillilicious, a mother and daughter team from Scotland’s first chilli farm in Fife. The ladies will bring a large selection of chilli products ready to perk up your weekend.

The Wee Tea Company will have a tea tasting competition, giving customers the chance to taste the teas and win a prize. The tea pot is never cold at his stall so pop along for a really nice experience.

The farmers’ market has the perfect balance of meat, game and seafood and the most popular stall attended the very first market in 1999. Tom Mitchell and his sister Camilla have built a reputation of producing pork and bacon of the highest quality. The philosophy at Puddledub is simple - each step is carefully done from conception to consumption. Happy pigs make flavoursome pork.

Resident chef Hayley will be on hand to cook up a storm throughout the morning including her regular children’s cookery club at 11 a.m. and customers can enjoy hot food from the market cafe serving market produce making it the perfect way to start the weekend. The market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and details can be found at
