WEBSTER’S High Scool and its Parent Council are grateful to all parents and members of the community who have supported fundraising recently.
The Sponsored Walk just before the Easter break raised a lot of money for the mini-bus fund. The school is optimistic that a replacement can be acquired.
A recent Spring Faye also went well and there were plenty of stalls in the school and a good number of visitors. The aim on this occasion was not just to support the mini-bus fund but also to raise money for the Kenya link with Litein High School.
The school is desperate to keep the link going but it will now have to be self-funding unless a sponsor can be found.
Saturday, May 12 saw another successful event when parents, pupils and staff sold raffle tickets (winner Mrs Adamson) and packed bags in the Co-op.
A big thank you to all involved and especially the Coop for allowing use of the facility. A superb total of £900 was raised on the day.
