ANIMAL welfare group Easy Walkers is trying to find a home for a three-year-old greyhound from Kirriemuir.
Sarah came into the care of the group last week after she was attacked by another dog and had part of her tail bitten off. She was taken to the vet to be looked over and thankfully they were able to fix it.
Unfortunately her owner then decided they were too upset over the matter to keep her any longer.
Easy Walkers’ Daryl Beech said: “Sarah is a really friendly dog and gets on well with everyone she meets.
“She is an ex-racing greyhound so we would like to find a home where she can relax and settle for the rest of her life.
“Greyhounds have a life expectancy of between 10 and 13 years and as Sarah is only three-years-old whoever re-homes her will have a great pooch they can have as part of the family for the rest of her life.”
She is currently in the care of Easy Walkers in Kirriemuir and anyone wishing to offer her a new home should get in touch on 07518 559707 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
The group is also appealing for old towels, dog bowls and beds as there are now at least three to five dogs coming through the door every week.
Daryl added: “We are funded by public donations, so everything we get goes back into helping the animals in our care.”
