Donations to Ninewells unit

Ethel Soutar of Koolkrafts in East High Street, Forfar made a visit to the neonatal intensive care unit at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee to present a cheque for over �1,000.'Ethel ran a series of fund-raisers in her shop throughout 2014 which raised �1,012.70 which was presented to Alison Findlay, SCN/midwife.'The money was raised through tombolas, lucky squares, a charity box and other events.'Ethel also presented  a selection of items knitted by her customers - Mrs Garrett, Helen McGregor, Mrs Russell, Helene Shaw, Sheena McDonald, Christine Skinner, Mrs Black, Mrs Isobel Harper, Irene Paris, Mrs Graham, Betty Cooper, Roz Brown, Ethel and many more.'They knitted 93 cardigans, 61 hats, 14 pairs of mitts, two blankets and three teddy bears.'Ethel thanks all her customers and businesses which donated prizes.
