FROM the company that brought you J.M. Barrie - Peter Pan Man, The Stirling Stage Company, comes Ira Levin’s ‘Deathtrap.’

Deathtrap was one of the biggest hits in the history of Broadway with a highly successful film version, directed by Sidney Lumet, starring Michael Caine and Christoper Reve.

Deathtrap is an ingeniously constructed play. It is two-thirds thriller and one third comedy.

Gasp-inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter with twists and shocks until the last minute.

The plot is centred around unknown dramatist Clifford Anderson who has sent his new thriller to award-winning Broadway author, Sidney Bruhl, for comment. Without a success for some years, Sidney plots with his reluctant wife Myra about how best to plagiarise Deathtrap and when Clifford turns up to discuss the play with the ‘Master’ - events take a sinister turn!

The plot is like quicksilver - each time you think you have it, it slips through your fingers - but the guessing will be lots of fun!

The Theatre Broad are piloting a scheme to encourage more people with disabilities to attend a theatrical performance by offering a special ticket for £1 for a person with a physical or learning disability, and their carer goes free.

The performance will take place at The Webster Memorial Thatre, Arbroath, on Tuesday, April 30, at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are priced at £10 and £12 as well as the £1 offer for the disabled.
