Now in the charity’s seventh year after it first opened in Arbroath, volunteer chair Fergus Storrier spoke about the importance of the project’s work.
He said: “We have a good presence in many areas. In addition we have started to pilot pre school sports courses for youngsters and we also support projects in local schools via active schools’ dance clubs many of which are run by young volunteers, as well as wider projects which support youngsters who are not engaging with education.
“In the main though our work is all about the weekly classes and the show is a great chance for all those people to show the huge audiences our shows attract the skills they have developed.
“Winning the Angus Ambassador Award late last year was a great thing for Showcase so anyone who hasn’t bought a ticket yet should pop along to the Reid Hall and see what great talent there is locally”
