POLICE in Kirriemuir have commented on the successful Bon Fest weekend in the town, which passed without incident.
A spokesperson said everyone attending enjoyed themselves. The high profile Police presence in the town provided public reassurance and was welcomed by the visitors some from Italy, Germany, Spain and France.

CR/013738/12 - vandalism - at around 5 pm on Tuesday, May, 1, the paint work on a car in Sidlaw Range, Kirriemuir was scratched.
CR/013700/12 - vandalism - on Saturday, April 28 a rone pipe at the Free Baptist Church in Bank Street, Kirriemuir was damaged.
Police in Forfar are investigating vandalism to a van parked in Rosebank Lane at about 0.15 hours on Monday, May, 7.
A white, Ford Connect van had its windscreen repeatedly smashed whilst parked outside a house in Rosebank Lane near to the corner of the Forfar Bowling Club. The person or persons responsible are thought to have made off along the footpath at the side of Forfar Bowling Club towards the Lour Road area.
