Drug dealer jailed for 16 months

A Forfar drug dealer was jailed for 16 months last Thursday after admitting his third supply offence.

Michael McIntosh was caught with a small quantity of heroin at a house in the town’s Peffers Place in May, but Sheriff Kevin Veal said his lengthy previous record and earlier convictions demanded a significant custodial sentence.

He warned the 26-year-old, who had 22 previous convictions, any further similar offending would likely lead to an appearance in the High Court.

Appearing on indictment McIntosh, a prisoner at Perth, admitted being concerned in the supplying of diamorphine on May 22 to another or others, including two naked females.
