Police Scotland is investigating a car vandalism spree in Kirriemuir earlier this week.

Inspector Stephen Main said: “We are making enquiries into two vandalisms to cars that happened in Northmuir, Kirriemuir sometime between 6am on Monday (February 27) and 10am on Tuesday (February 28).

“In Angle Road, the passenger side of a black Alfa Romeo car was damaged with a deep scratch and a Grey Vauxhall Zafira car was similarly damaged in Woodend Drive.

“If you have information that could assist us with our enquiries, please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 5204/17.”

One of the victims of the vandalism, Wendy Glass, said: “I am shocked that someone has done this to my car while it was sitting outside my house, in one of the quietest parts of Kirriemuir. My car means a lot to me and to see it with this massive score along the side is heartbreaking.”
