ANGUS Council is looking to install a new data centre at its current Print and Design unit at Orchardbank.
The extension measures 19 metres by nine metres and is just under five metres high at its tallest.
It has also been proposed that there will be new generator housing, an oil tank and five eco-cooling units as part of the development.
Eric Lowson, director of infrastructure services, said: “This is an application to extend an existing Council facility in a manner which complies with the development plan.
“There is no material considerations that would justify refusal of the application and it is therefore recommended for approval.”
