THE bid to keep Strathmore Cricket Club on a firm financial footing continues, with a number of fund-raising activities in the pipeline.
Following a hectic weekend, there is more work for members and friends this coming weekend.
The Guide Hall in the Myre is the venue for a coffee morning which will run from 10 am.
In addition to tea, coffee and pancakes, there will be the opportunity to browse a number of stalls offering a range of goods for sale, including knitting and second hand CDs, etc.
The following Saturday, June 18, it’s cabaret time at the cricket once again.
Providing the entertainment in the form of a range of hits over 60 years, everything from Neil Diamond and Kings of Leon, will be fantastic male vocalist Billy main.
