A special coffee afternoon will take place at the Woodville Inn, Kirriemuir this Sunday to raise funds to help children in a school in Gambia.
Kind-hearted teenagers Christie McNicoll and Caitlin Richardson are running the event from 2 to 4 pm to raise funds to send shoe-boxes full of goodies to the The Kunta Kinteh Nursery in Gambia.
The school has been made possible thanks to the fund-raising efforts of Woodville owner Jackie Learmonth, who has praised the girls for their support.
Both girls are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, with Christie already completing a parachute jump for the nursery. There will be various fund-raisers on Sunday including a cake and candy stall.
