Community groups interested in learning more about funding for projects which reduce carbon emissions are invited to attend an event organised by Angus Council’s external funding team.
The Climate Challenge Fund event will take place at the council’s headquarters at Angus House, Orchardbank, Forfar, from 1 am to 4 pm on Friday, November 4.
This follows on from a similar event earlier this year which resulted in a number of successful applications to the fund from Angus to the value of more than £37,000.
This included one from Forfar Dramatic Society which received over £18,000 to improve insulation in their hall, benefitting both actors and audiences and support for the 2011 Angus Secondary Schools Climate Change Conference.
Groups are invited to come along to hear about the funding available from the Climate Challenge Fund, and how to apply.
