The Community Christmas Tree Competition at the East & Old Church returns this Friday at 6.30 p.m. Fifteen teams have entered so far and last year’s champion, Strathmore Funeral Directors, is back to defend its title. Teams have 45 minutes to put their own decorations on a tree provided, with the theme ‘Carols’.

Even if you are not competing, you are invited along to support the teams and enjoy the tea/coffee/juice/mulled wine, mince pies and tasty bites while Angus Councillor Ian McLaren judges the entries.
